Orchids

Description

Orchids (15.7 x 19.7 inches / 40 x 50 cm) are both delicate and vibrant in their color and beauty. They come in so many varieties and colors and signifies the rich vibrant society that makes up the people of Israel. Upon visiting Park Utopia in Kibbutz Bahan with my daughter, we were mesmerized by the thousands of orchids that we saw there. I choose to paint deep purple and yellow orchids as these colors exist on opposite spectrum of the color wheel, yet are considered complementary colors, each enhancing the other. The painting signifies a hope for the opposite strands of Israeli society to live harmoniously with one another.

The limited edition, numbered print comes with a certificate of authenticity, signed and dated by the artist.

For international delivery, the canvas print ships rolled in a tube to ensure optimal protection during transit. Once received, it can be taken to a local framer to be stretched and framed.

For local delivery within Israel, the stretched canvas is shipped via courier or can be hand-collected in Carmei Gat or Jerusalem.
